There are several people who have directly or indirectly inspired me since the early years of my career: Curt Brunnee (former director of R&D of Finnigan MAT and polymath), Lidya Gall (one of the inventors of electrospray), A. Mamyrin (inventor of reflectron).

What’s next?
We are working on making Orbitrap mass spectrometry faster, more sensitive and easier to own and apply.
